We all have our “why.” My “why” is undoubtedly my family, both blood and blue, and my community. I strive to please The Lord, although I fall short. My heart desires to be a difference-maker to do my best and live a life of integrity.
On days when I feel my best is not good enough or attacks seem to be coming from all directions, I stop. I realize these feelings are false. I know God has a plan for my life, just as he does all of yours. I take a deep breath and always remember why I started.
If you’re feeling the weight, surround yourself with people who love you, believe in you, and pray for you, then keep moving. After all, there’s work to do, and your “why” is counting on you!
I’ve been amazed by the outpouring of support for our re-election campaign in recent weeks. The amount of folks dedicating their time is humbling. I always say thank you, but that will never be enough. I’m very grateful!
Have a blessed week!
